Look Who's Back

I may have been absent for several weeks, but I'm back.

I've missed blogging so much, but even more so, I've missed my computer! Here's the breakdown of why I've been MIA...
1. My computer was "acting up" while I was in Dubai, and if finally "bit the dust." Poor thing was infected, but it seems to have made a full recovery.
2. You've probably heard the saying, "like mother, like daughter." That's very true for me, but when it comes to some health issues, there's no denying I'm like my father. I have a neck/back injury and apparently it decided it was behaving too well and needed some attention. I'm not going to go into details, but thankfully, I'm back on the mend and am continuing treatment. I'm hopeful for a long stretch of management before it becomes unbearable again.
So, onto my latest tickled life moment. Many of the students that studied abroad in Dubai decided to sign up for a local Color Me Rad 5K. They decided I should participate, and of course, I couldn't say no. Based on my health issues, I was very concerned that I wouldn't fare well in this event. But, my adrenaline kicked in and we had a blast! Get it? Blast. I may have walked the majority of the course, but I was just glad I finished. If you've not gotten rad, I highly recommend it! It's a one-of-a-kind event, and part of the funds go to a local charity. Thank you to my students for the invite to join in! It was truly rad!
Aside from being photobombed by porta potties, this is one my favorite photos!
Now that I have the world at my fingertips again, I'll start back up with my Back to School Wish List. Look for Part IV Friday!
Thanks for your patience and for catching back up with me.
God Bless!
