Last post I mentioned how eventful and busy the past few weeks have been. Let me fill you in.

Finally... It's been way, way, way (you get the point) too long.

It's been an exciting, eventful, busy few weeks. Last week was spring break and I decided to embrace the "break" component and took one! More about that in a post to come.

It's St. Patrick's Day! Today is yet another reminder of just how blessed I am. A few years ago (or maybe several years ago) my dream of traveling to Ireland became a reality. Visiting this serene country still feels like a dream. The welcoming people, the majestic scenery, and the monumental remains of time long ago will never be forgotten.
Kissing the Blarney Stone proved more difficult than expected.

So, how am I celebrating? Well, today is a Monday and it's the first day back from break... so... that means I'll be drifting off to dreamland in no time. But, I've thought about my experiences, what St. Patrick meant and still means to many, and the blessings bestowed upon me. I did wear green though, but today's cold rain meant a typical warm sweater. I may have also googled Colin Farrell for mcm. ; )

May the Irish hills caress you.

May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Were you glued to the television/social media/internet for last night's celebrity looks? I was, and oh, was I in love with so many gorgeous looks. My best dressed goes to Kate Hudson for both looks.

She was stunning! Of course, it helps that she is gorgeous no matter the gown choice.

In honor of pastels and nudes dominating The Oscars Red Carpet, I'm sharing some of my favorite pastel/nude pieces for my spring wardrobe. Soft pink, cream, and yellow are drawing me in this season. I'm a HUGE fan of blue, but really need to diversify my wardrobe. Speaking of blue though, Lupita Nyong'o's dress can't go without mentioning. Her look is in my top 5 of the night.

Back to my pastel/nude pieces... I actually purchased the shorts a few weeks back and can't wait to sport these with a black polka dot crop top and heels. Being over 5'10", I have such a hard time finding fashionable shorts that are long enough for my tall legs. Thankfully, these fit like a glove and have an extra 1/2 inch I need! Express is currently offer Buy One Get One 1/2 Off on shorts. I'm feeling these as well.

I hope you enjoyed swooning over the gowns last night!
